Like many other countries, Denmark distinguishes between full research universities and more practice-oriented university colleges (elsewhere often known as \u201cuniversities of applied sciences\u201d or polytechnics). A locally special kind of institution is the business academies, which offer practice-oriented associate\u2019s and Bachelor\u2019s degrees in business-related fields.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tuition fees<\/h3><p>There are no tuition fees for students from the EU\/EEA and Switzerland.
